Draws flow away.
Just beneath the fabric surface, the wicking layer draws menstrual flow towards the absorbent layer below.
Running, jumping, changing direction. UnderAustin combines period protection with a free-moving panel and a fit made for short playing uniforms.
Co-designed with Australian netballer Kiera “Kip” Austin.

Your period underwear needs to move with you and fit under what you play in.
UnderAustin belongs in the kit for netball, hockey, soccer and other vigorous sport. Short uniforms, wide stances and quick changes of direction shaped its construction.
Period protection, free-moving construction and a fit made for short sports uniforms. Here’s what each detail does for you.
Free-moving means the protective panel works independently of the outer shorts. When the outer fabric shifts, it doesn’t pull the panel out of position. The protection stays against your body, keeping coverage in place and reducing the chance of leaks during dynamic play.
UnderAustin holds approximately 3–4 regular pads’ or tampons’ worth of menstrual flow. Your flow and use determine when to change.

A short-leg cut keeps the undershorts suited to what you play in.

A high waist and firm fit give UnderAustin its close-fitting shape. Between sizes? Choose the larger size.

Just beneath the fabric surface, the wicking layer draws menstrual flow towards the absorbent layer below.
The sponge-like structure absorbs and spreads menstrual flow through the material, holding it above the sealed layer.
The sealed layer stops flow and sends it back into the absorbent layer above, where it is held. Nothing reaches the outer fabric.
The outer fabric forms the shorts around the protection panel. The outer shorts and absorbent panel work independently.
Elite sport supplied the starting requirements. Kiera and Eltee founder Sarah Greenaway worked together on UnderAustin's development.

“I had a long list of non-negotiables. Comfortable wasn’t enough. UnderAustin had to move freely, protect without distraction and keep up at full intensity. Eighteen months (and a few tragic prototypes later 🤭) we nailed it!”

Heavy-flow day? Pack a clean spare with your training kit so you can change when you need to.
Check the fit under your playing uniform before the day. Keep your spare accessible so changing doesn't depend on a trip home.
Back-to-back games? Plan a wash-and-wear rotation. Pack enough pairs to have a clean one ready while the others are washing or drying.
Approximate absorbency
3–4
regular pads or tampons
As a rule of thumb, UnderAustin absorbs the equivalent of 3–4 regular pads or tampons. This describes capacity, not a set number of hours.
A lighter day and a heavy-flow day put different demands on the same pair. How often you change depends on your flow and use, not how long the game lasts.
Start in a clean, dry pair. On heavier days, pack a spare so you can change when needed. If your pair feels wet, full or uncomfortable, change into a clean one.
Wash between wears and let each pair dry fully before wearing it again. A rotation gives you a clean pair to wear while the others are washing or drying.

No. Its development involved a netballer, but its focus is vigorous sport and short playing uniforms.
Approximately 3–4 regular pads' worth of menstrual flow. Change according to your flow and use rather than relying on a fixed number of playing hours.
Use the UnderAustin size guide. Try a new pair over clean underwear before removing the hygiene sticker, and check the fit with your playing uniform.
