Period-Inclusive Swim Campaign
Swimming Australia's inclusive swim rule everyone should know.
Let’s clear the water.
Swimming Australia’s Inclusive Swimwear Policy says girls can wear period-safe swim underwear under their suits. Fully allowed. Fully legit.
That includes UnderSwim from Eltee Sydney, the period-safe swim underwear endorsed by Swimming Australia as their choice. It works. It’s tested. It’s changing the game.
Still, too many girls are stepping out of the pool thinking they don’t have options.
Our research shows the dropout rate spikes around puberty, when periods hit and confidence dips. Many mums have been there too - when the rule didn’t exist. Now it does, and it changes everything.
We’re collecting real stories to show the next wave that periods don’t have to pull them to the sidelines.
We want to hear from swimmers, parents, and coaches (yes, including dads and male coaches who see the impact firsthand).
If selected, we’ll ask you to share your story through a short video, photo, and a brief written piece. Doesn’t need to be polished or scripted. Just real.
Selected contributors will receive a pair of UnderSwim to try (or add to their collection if they’re already converts).
Add your name to the storyteller list.
Together, we’ll show that girls can stay in the game, every day of the month.
